We will be offering four new, free fitness and wellness classes beginning in early 2018. All classes are open to adults in the community and will be offered at the Mason County Health Department.

Strong Women: beginning Monday, January 8th and continuing every Monday and Wednesday at noon for 12 weeks. This class is approximately 30-minutes-long and teaches strength-training exercises to help maintain muscle mass, strength, and function. The class is open to both men and women.
Walk 15: beginning Monday, January 8th and continuing every Monday and Wednesday at 12:30 PM for 12 weeks. This class is approximately 30-minutes-long and is appropriate for people of all fitness levels. Walk 15 is a low-impact, walking-based exercise class.
Diet Free: beginning Thursday, January 11th and continuing every Thursday at noon through March 8th. This class is approximately one-hour-long and is only open to the first 20 registrants. This class teaches healthy habits for weight less. The value of this class is estimated at $185.
These three classes are additions the health department’s existing schedule of successful, free fitness classes, including another Strong Women session on Mondays and Fridays at 11:30 AM, an arthritis exercise class on Mondays and Fridays at 11:00 AM, and Zumba Gold on Mondays and Wednesday at 10:30 AM.
